Day 1: Tashkent
We are happy to see on Uzbekistan tour. We will visit Independence square, walk along the local Broadway and see Tashkent metro. The first line was opened in 1977. Our travelers will walk to the old part of the city. They are Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex. Guests will see madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. Afterwards we will visit Othman Quran which is the world's oldest Quran copy of the 8th century. The book belonged to Othman Ibn Affan, the Third Caliph but he was killed in the 8th century. His blood can be seen over the Quran pages. Night is in a hotel.
Day 2: Tashkent - Samarkand
In the morning is transfer to Samarkand. It is located in the valley of the river Zerafshan as well as the largest city of Uzbekistan. We will have a city tour and visit Registan square, Shakhi Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. Registan Square is famous for three charming of the 15-17th centuries. Shakhi Zindeh signifies a great assembly of mausoleums of the 11th-15 centuries (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Bibi Khanum Mosque is dedicated to favorite Tamerlane's wife. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 3: Samarkand - Yurts camp of Nurata
Today is transfer to a small town of Nurata. It is situated in the slopes of Nuratau Mountains. The fortress Nur was found by Alexander the Great in 4th century BC. Though, according to archeological digs the cultural layer in this area grasps the age of 40 thousand years. Upon arrival you will have a sightseeing tour that contains the Khasan Khuseyn Mosque, blacksmith's and potter's workshops and a blessed pond with hallowed fishes, a place for pilgrimage by Muslim worshipers in Nurata. Then visit the Medressa of Sheihun Hasan Nury, Namazgokh Mosque and remains of so called "Alexander the Great's Fortress". Night is in a yurt camp.
Day 4: Nurata - Samarkand
In the morning we will have two-hour camel tour to Aydarkul lake. The lake stretches for 250 km along the desert. Travelers will have a chance to learn more about nature, get acquainted with hospitable Tajik people and of course taste national food. We will drive to Samarkand and have stop at Sariamish stone paintings. You will find more 3 000 pictures on black basalt rocks-petroglyphs exhibiting animals, people, hunting scenes, lifestyle and even love-making. Upon arrival to Samarkand overnight is in a hotel.
Day 5: Samarkand - Tashkent (350 km, 4.5 hrs)
In the morning we will travel to Tashkent. We will visit Courage Monument which is a dedicatory complex, founded to the exclusion of the significances of the Tashkent earthquake. Then the tour continues to Zangi Ota memorial complex. In general Zangi Oota was a shepherd famous for his wisdom. The city tour will be accomplished by visiting the State Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan, entailing of fine examples of glasses and national clothing, hand and machine embroidery, skullcaps and national fabrics, carpets and woodcarving. Night is in a hotel.
Day 6: Tashkent - Flight
Transfer to airport.
