Day 1: Dushanbe - Hissor - Dushanbe
On arrival is transfer to Dushanbe. Meet the city tour and visit Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Afterwards we will walk to National Park, Ministry of Inner Affairs and see the greatest National Flag in the world of 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. Drive to Hisor fortress of the VII-XVII centuries. The fortress was the residence of the representative of Bukhara's Emir located on a high hill and was well endangered by walls 1 m thick and loopholes for cannons. There you can see a pool and a garden, and in front of the fortress there was a busy market square with caravanserais and shops. There are two impressive towers at the entrance. We will see recently renovated monuments of "Madrasa I Kuhna" of the 16th-17th centuries, mosque; the mausoleum of "Mahdumi Azam" of 16th century. We will return to Dushanbe. Night is in a hotel.
Day 2: Dushanbe - Norak - Kalai Khum
Explore Kalai Khum village and esteem the beauty of Norak water reservoir that is also well known as Tajik Sea. We will drive over Shuraba pass on elevation of 2 267 m and after drive along Afghanistan border starts. On the way learn more about the Territory of Pamir Mountains. Many years the Pamirs have enthused the world's greatest explorers such as: Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. We will drive along natural border - Pyanj River. Night is in a homestay.
Day 3: Kalai Khum - Khorog
Transfer to Khorog. The city is located in the Rocky Mountains and was built at the fusion of three rivers, where the Shokhdara River and Ghund River flow into Pyanj River. On the way to Khorog you can get acquainted the Pamir people. They differ from Tajiks and have blond hair, fair skin and blue eyes. Pamir Mountains are the uppermost mountains in the world that have population. Overnight is in guest house.
Day 4: Khorog - Langar
We will travel to Langar village. The Pamir is a crook of skyscraper, grand mountains, clear waters of lakes and rivers, wide valleys and dry deserts. They are called the "Roof of the World." Pamirs are located at altitude of 3,500 to 4,200 meters above sea level. The Pamir is possibly one of the few areas of Central Asia where ethnic and cultural appearances of the Pamir people exist. They have different dialects and even languages. The next destination is seeing a Buddhist complex of 4-7 centuries stances above the village of Vrang, on a slope of a rock dug out by caves. We will visit Abreshim Kala (Silk Fortress). Overnight is in home stay.
Day 5: Langar - Yashil Kul Lake - Bulunkul Lake - Murgab
Meet the most beautiful lakes of Pamir's - Yashil Kul and Bulunkul (Blue lakes). They are found on the altitude of 3 700 meters above sea level in the Murghab district. The color of water in Bulunkul is purple and blue with a lot of fish species. In addition, travelers will see yaks. They are domestic animals giving milk and meat products. Drive through Khargush pass on altitude of 4 344 m. Overnight is in a guesthouse.
Day 6: Murgab - Khorog
Drive back to Khorog via Pamir Highway well known as M41 Pamir Tract. This is the second uppermost mountainous road after Tibet's highway. We will pass on the altitude more than 4 000 meters above sea level to see Koitezak pass with elevation of 4 271 m. Travelers will find out diversity of wildlife where possible to see wild mammals as tiger-cat, grizzly bear, badger, stoat, fox, grey and red wolves. The Pamir provides a big and affluent flock of sheep Marco Polo as well. Night is in a guesthouse.
Day 7: Khorog - Kalai Khum
In the morning we will drive to Kalai Khum. This whole area is made of high rock-strewn mountains over 6 000 meters. Explorers have great chance to relish not only good-looking and unique nature but also to learn more about ethnography, history and everyday life of nomads. On the way you will have an opportunity to communicate with local people on the village. Admire the beauty of the river in narrow mountain valleys. On the other side of the river you will see Afgan stony villages and gardens. Night is in a hotel.
Day 8: Kalai Khum - Khoburubot - Dushanbe
Travel to Dushanbe city via high Khoburubot Pass (3 252) or Western Pamir Tract. Enjoy breathtaking river valley and astonishing gorges in the terrain. On the impressive day of a tour you will see small villages and meet local people. Tajiks are hardworking, generous, and kind people. They respect traditions and folklore so high. Everyone will enjoy exotics, ethnic and cultural differences and riveted by the attractiveness of wild nature. Night is in a hotel.
Day 9: Dushanbe - Iskanderkul Lake
See an alpine lake that situated in the famous Fann Mountains - Iskanderkul Lake (2 255 m. a. s. l.). On the way we will pass through Anzob pass that has altitude of 3 372 m and breathtaking panorama views. By reaching over there you will walk along beach. You can also hike for 40 minutes in order to see a beautiful waterfall. Tajikistan is defined to be the second place between the CIS countries for capacity of water resources with the highest water reserves of all Central Asian countries with more than 1 000 rivers, 2 000 lakes and 8000 glaciers. Night is in a guesthouse.
Day 10: Iskanderkul Lake - Dushanbe
Drive to Dushanbe via Anzob pass and tunnel of Isticlol. Guests will have an opportunity to have a lot of photo stops and capture vibrant pictures. Fann Mountains in past times was known as "Kuhistan" - Mountainous Country from Farsi. On the territory of Fann Mountains you can find more than 30 virgin parti-colored lakes of different size. Today Fann Mountains attract many travelers for vacation of trekking and climbing activities. In the end of day is transfer to Dushanbe. Rest is in a hotel.
Day 11: Airport
In the morning is transfer to airport.
