Tour summary:
Day 1: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley
Guide meets you at Manas International Airport and you drive to Bishkek City (30 min. drive), after the breakfast you will visit the centre of Bishkek the capital city of Kyrgyzstan.The tour includes the visiting of the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the History Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, and lunch. Then you will travel to the impressive Chon Kemin valley, where you will spend the night in the hospitable Kalmak-Ashuu Guesthouse. On the way, we will visit the Burana Tower (25m high watch tower of the 11 century) and an open air museum of Balbans (stone warriors) nearby. Dinner will be served at 7 pm.
Day 2: Chon Kemin valley - Tamga
At 7 a.m.- breakfast and set-off to Tamga. We will drive (380 km,6h) along the shore of the wonderful alpine Issyk-Kul Lake (1608m.above sea level). The Lake is also called as "the Kyrgyz sea" because it is salty and it is the 2nd biggest alpine lake in the world. Dinner will be served in the Tamga Guesthouse, where you will also spend the night.
Day 3: Tamga - Chong Kyzyl Suu
After a strengthening breakfast we will start our way to admirable Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley by car (70 km). There we will start your horseback riding along the Terskey mountain range (5h). On the way, you will see tremendous red mountains in different shapes, and have a chance to visit the mineral sources at Jeli Suu ( Dungan Village). Afterwards, a horseback riding tour to the Chong Kyzyl Suu is waiting for you (1 hour). Your dinner and overnight stay will be in yurts. Yurta is not just a dwelling it is a national symbol and a sign of spiritual wealth of the nation.
Day 4: Chong Kyzyl Suu - pass Karatakia - gorge Kitchi Kyzyl Suu
After breakfast you will ride through the staggering Karatakia gorge and over the Karatakia pass. After admiring of the landscapes you will take a reinforcing lunch. And then you will have horseback riding down to the Kitshi Kyzyl Suu valley (6h). This is a place where you can test very delicious Kumis (Kyrgyz national drink made of fermented mare's milk). Dinner is served at 7 p.m. Night in tents.
Day 5: Kitchi Kyzyl Suu - gorge Jukutchak
After climbing the majestic Kashka-Tor pass (3937m above sea level) you will ride a horse through red canyon and across the cave that is called "500 rams". There at the bottom of the sparkling waterfall will have your lunch. The waterfall is located not far from hot springs (40 degrees Celsius) that are also possible to visit if you wish. Dinner is served at 8 p.m. Night in tents.
Day 6: Gorge Jukutshak - gorge Ashu-Kashka Suu
Your breakfast will be served at 8 o'clock. Afterwards there is an ascension to the pass Ashu-Tor (3636m asl), there is a mountain waterfall and mineral springs with thiocyanogen water. After taking lunch you will ride down 6 hours to the gorge of Ashu-Kashka Suu. Welcomed dinner will be served at 8 p.m. Night in tents.
Day 7: Ashu-Kashka Suu Gorge - Kashka-Suu Lake
8 am - breakfast then packing and an absorbing ascent on horses to the pass Kashka-Suu (3891m.), where you will take lunch. Then you will ride your horse 6 hours to the shining Kashka-Suu Lake (3800m asl) that finds its origin in a glacier.. Dinner is served at 7p.m. Night in tents.
Day 8: Lake Kashka-Suu - river Kumtor (3012m)
There is long 6(hr) but fascinating horse riding among Ak Shirak Mountains to Kumtor river. The range is always covered with snow. And summer heat might change to winter snow within 20 minutes. Kumtor River is the most famous place for gold mining. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. You will spend the night in tents.
Day 9: Kumtor - Arabel Suu
Day starts with a breakfast at 8 o'clock. And for 5 hours you will ride your horse along Arabel Suu River to the valley of eight glittering mountain lakes. Lunch will be on the way. Dinner and night near the Arabel Suu River in tents.
Day 10: Arabel Suu - Chokoli Lakes (3006m)
You will be served breakfast at 8 o'clock Then there is a continuation of horseback riding to the Chokoli Lakes. At the elevation over 3000m you can easily meet Marco Polo sheep and ibexes t. Also you will visit the mountain lake and see a glacier not far from there. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. You will spend the night in tents near the lake.
Day 11: Chokoli Lakes - Bishkek (by car)
After packing your backpacks, you will be served breakfast at 8 o'clock. Then car will transfer you to Bishkek city. You will reach Bishkek at around 5 pm there you will have time for yourself in a Hotel***, until your pick up at 7 pm. for a farewell dinner in a restaurant.
Day 12: Flight home
The guide will take you from the hotel and attend to the airport at time arranged in your flight tickets.
