Climate
The climate of the republic is penetrating and mainland with four seasons characteristically following each other. There is not much precipitation and 240 days of sun annually. The mornings are regularly cool and fresh and the midafternoons are foggy with occasional rain during the summer, in the highlands. The average temperature in the country depending on the area can alter from 16° and 24°C (61-75°F) in July and -6° and - 4°C (20-23°F) in January in the lowlands. The temperatures can fluctuate from 9° to 13°C (46-55°F) in July, but in January vary from -19° and -13°C (-3-7°F) in the highlands. Winter time can have a lot of weighty snow.
